Cospeciation between zokor species and their gut symbiotics
Description: This project aims to reveal co-speciation mechanism of six zokor species (Eospalax baileyi, Eospalax cansus, Eospalax smithii, Eospalax fontanierii, Eospalax rothschildi, Eospalax rufescens) and their gut symbiotic microorganisms as well as the role of gut microbiome in plateau zokor speciation.
