Tibetan horse (Equus caballus)

Tibetan horses belong to the mammalia, euzodia, perissodactyla, hippomorpha, equine, and equus.The horse breeds are unique to the high-altitude geographical environment of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. It is produced in the Tibet Autonomous Region and is mainly distributed in neighboring provinces around Tibet, including Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southern Qinghai, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, and Zhongdian County in Yunnan Province. The size of Tibetan horses is different from other breeds. Strong physique, gentle temperament, well-balanced structure. The head is small and mostly straight. Good neck and shoulder joints. The muslin is lower. The front chest is wide, the heart and lungs are developed; the hindquarters are developed, the back is wide, and the waist is wide; compared with the horses in the plains, their red blood cell count and hemoglobin are higher; the limbs are strong, the hoof is firm; the whole body is sparse and medium-sized .There are more liu hairs and less green hairs, while green-haired horses have always been favoured by Tibetans.
