Lift Genome Annotations

Introduction

This tool converts genome coordinates and annotation files between assemblies. The inputdata can be entered into the text box or uploaded as a file. Note that the web tool has aninput file size limit of 10Mb.

1.Select a method to upload, you can use the BED format(one position per line) or drag file in BED format.

2.Select the genome and assembly from which the ranges were taken ("Original"), as well as the genome and assembly to which the coordinates should be converted ("New").

3.The default parameters for LiftOver are recommended for general use of the LiftOver tool. However, you may want to customize settings if you have several very large regions to convert.

4.Click Submit

Data format

1. You can use the BED format (e.g."chr4 100000 100001"0-based) or the format of the position box (chr4:100,001-100,001",1-based). We do not recommend liftOver for SNPs that have rsIDs.

2. File size limit of 10MB.
