Public Marine Genome Resources of Fungi (PMGR Fungi) aims to be the world's most comprehensively specialized database of Fungi living in the marine environment. The ocean occupies 71% of the earth's surface area, more than 25% of the global species. The ocean is the origin of life and has extremely high biodiversity. However, there has been no specialized genomic database for marine organisms. When we (BGI-Qingdao) reviewed the marine omics on our white paper, which was published every two years, the genomics resources of marine organisms were very fragmented and incomplete. This data set is maintained by BGI-Qingdao, including the newly assembled genomes by ourselves and the published genomes from other public databases. We systematically evaluated the assembly quality, annotated the genes for species that do not have genetic annotations, and performed an overview analysis in our white paper on marine resources. In short, we provided comprehensive, artificially corrected, convenient, direct, and convenient genome resources to the researchers in the field of marine biological resources.
