Project name: Agrobacterium deltaense strain:7-2H
Description: Endohyphal bacterium plays an important role in the metabolism, reproduction and resistance of host fungi. In some cases, EHB was found to promote fungal phosphate uptake and transport, increase the activity of fungal plant cell wall-degrading enzymes, and stimulate the fungal host to produce more of the phytohormone indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) to promote plant growth, Increase the utilization of carbon sources by the fungal host, produce antibiotics, help host fungi resist bacterial diseases, and promote seed germination. To explore the genetic basis of these beneficial traits, whole-genome sequencing of the isolated EHB was performed.
