Description: This dataset contains paired-end genomic sequencing reads of two isolates, 142-2 and 144-3, that underwent an adaptive laboratory evolution on waste. The parent strain and the isolates are diploid. These isolates grew better on waste after the evolution, and the goal of this sequencing was to identify causative mutations. The parent strain Diploid TAL, derived from Po1f, was genetically engineered to both consume xylose and produce triacetic acid lactone.
