Description: To investigate the suppressive mutations to the sef1-deleted transcriptional netwrok in L. kluyveri, we sequenced the suppressor clones of sef1-deleted mutant and identified azf1 and ira1 loss-of-function mutations as the suppressive mutations, revealing the fast compensatory and suppressive mechanisms in the evolution of a disrupted transcriptional network.
