Description: In this study, we determined the CodY regulon in Streptococcus agalactiae strain BM110 during exponential growth in rich medium. A wild-type and a codY-null mutant strain were grown in Todd-Hewitt medium supplemented with 0.5% yeast extract. Total RNA was extracted from cells collected at mid-log phase of growth. rRNA-depleted RNA was sequenced by Illumina technology and a differential expression analysis (RNA-Seq) was performed on four independent biological replicates for each strain.
