Description: Yarrowia lipolytica is one of the most studied non-conventional yeast that is capable of synthesizing a group of metabolites, in particular lipases and other hydrolytic enzymes, microbial oil, citric acid and etc. Here we present whole genome and transcriptome sequencing of two french isolated strains E122 (MATA, lys11, ura3-302, leu2-270) and 22301-5 (MATB, his1, ura3-302, leu2-270) for the first time.
