Project name: Amanita thiersii Skay4041
Description: In order to identify putative genes used by the fungus Amanita thiersii to degrade cellulose in dead organic matter, we sequenced a transcriptome of Amanita thiersii (isolate SKay4041het) growing in a medium where the main source of carbon was sterile grass litter. Using 454 Titanium sequencing, we sequenced cDNA generated from RNA that was isolated from grass litter colonized by A. thiersii.
Data type: Transcriptome or Gene expression
Sample scope: Monoisolate
