Project name: Apis cerana isolate:GH-2021

Description: This project contains improvement in the complete genome of Apis cerana cerana from Republic of Korea. The complete genome will contribute to comparative analyses of molecular biology, to evolutionary studies within the lineages of Apis cerana as well as across Apis species, and to facilitate the study of mechanisms underlying its general behaviours. Since Apis cerana cerana is an important pollinator, the genetic background will make an important contribution to its protection and conservation.
