Project name: Oreochromis niloticus
Description: Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) is one of the main valuable economical fishes in the world. Streptococcosis is commonly found in tilapia, which has caused severe and devastating effects in tilapia cultures. Streptococcus agalactiae and Streptococcus iniae are the main pathogens of tilapia streptococcosis. To understand the molecular mechanisms between different streptococcal infection patterns and tilapia, we infected Nile Tilapias (Oreochromis niloticus) S. agalactiae and S. iniae . And the transcriptome analysis of intestine samples in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) was performed .
