Project name: Identification of differentially expressed genes in Streptococcus agalactiae following phagocytic uptake and survival in THP-1 macrophage cells.
Description: The goal of this analysis was to identify genes that promote survival of S. agalactiae within macrophages.Overall design: A total of 6 samples were examined. Two replicates are the controls (S. agalactiae grown in RPMI media), two replicates are for S. agalactiae following uptake by THP-1 cells after 1 hour, and two replicates are for S. agalactiae following uptake by THP-1 cells after 24 hours.
