Project name: Expression data from Solanum lycopersicum after elicitor molecules treatment
Description: After treatment with peptids, SA, JA and Et plants are primed due to the induction of plant immune system allowing to fight against plant pathogens. We used microarray analysis to study the expression pattern of the diferents genes involved in plant defense mechanisms related to biotic and abiotic stressesOverall design: The experimental design consisted of three biological replicates of 10 tomato plants (var. Rio Grande) per replicate and treatments consisted of peptide BP178 (125 µM), and flg15 (125 µM), SA (2.5 mM), JA (2.5 mM) and ethylene (reacting ethephon (1mM) with disodium hydrogen phosphate buffer (2.5mM)) and a water (NTC) non-treated control was used. We performed two experiments: Experiment 1 (NTC e1 vs BP178, SA, JA, Et); Experiment 2 (NTC e2 vs flg15). GeneChip™ Tomato Gene 1.0 ST Array (Affymetrix) was used for comparing transcriptomes from plants treated.
