Project name: Carthamus tinctorius
Description: Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is one of the most extensively used oil crops among the world. However, little is known about its compounds synthetization at the genetic level. In this study, the de novo transcriptomes, which consist of 153,769 unigenes, were obtained by performing Solexa-based deep sequencing on seed, leaf and petal of safflower, respectively.
Data type: transcriptome
