Project name: Camellia sinensis strain:ACCC39730
Description: Tea (Camellia sinensis [L.] Kuntze) have been widely grown in Guizhou Province, China, and the cultivation area in the region ranks first among all the provinces or cities in China. Tea leaf spot caused by Pestalotiopsis trachicarpicola was found in Yuqing County, Guizhou Province, China. The disease occurred at the tea plantation, which can decrease the quality and production of tea leaves. The sequence and functional annotation of the mRNAs of tea (C. sinensis cultivar Fuding-Dabaicha) leaves infected by P. trachicarpicola strain ACCC39730 (namely strain GZYQ2018YQX001) would contribute to the future research on host-pathogen interactions and disease resistance in the tea host.
