Description: We isolated a pure single colony of Acinetobacter from the gut of Curculio chinensis. Previous studies have suggested that the bacteria may play a key role in metabolizing toxic substances. To further confirm the function of this strain in the process of metabolizing plant secondary metabolites, whole genome sequencing was performed.
