Description: The analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequence and the average nucleotide identity placed strain CPCC 101365 within the genus Stenotrophomonas, and the strain CPCC 101365 was different from all recognized Stenotrophomonas species. Further phylogenetic, phenotypic and chemotaxonomic analyses enabled the differentiation of CPCC 101365 from the closely related species of it. CPCC 101365 therefore represents a novel species.
