Project name: Comparison of genes differentially expressed between Medicago R108 and abi3 mutants (NF3185 and NF6003) during different stages of seed development (16, 24, 32 and 40 DAP)
Description: ABI3 is a B3-domain transcription factor that acts as a master regulator of seed maturation. To identify genes that are regulated specifically by ABI3 in the model legume Medicago R108 during seed development, using the Medicago NimbleGen chip, a transcriptomic analysis was performed between abi3 mutants (NF3185 and NF6003) and R108 wild-type at 4 stages of seed development.Overall design: Two-condition experiment, mutant versus Wt. Biological replicates: 3 control replicates (Wt), 3 treatment replicates (Homozygous mutants) and 4 stages of seed development for NF6003 mutant. 2 control replicates (Wt), 2 treatment replicates (Homozygous mutants) and 3 stages of seed development for NF3185 mutant. Independently grown and harvested. One replicate per array. Dye swap method.
