Description: Curtobacterium is a genus of plant pathogens causing soft rot on a variety of crop and ornamental species. Here we present the genome of an isolate that was recovered from alfalfa seeds treated with hydrogen peroxide. The bacterium does not appear to be a pathogen of alfalfa.
