Description: We aim to describe the sialotranscriptome (from the Greek sialo=saliva) of T. rubida aiming to help identification of salivary antigens that might be useful in the diagnosis and treatment of T. rubida allergy and that might be used as epidemiological markers of T. rubida exposure by humans and their pets. Salivary glands obtained from V instar nymphs and adults collected in Tucson, Arizona in May/June 2011.
