Description: DNA methylation is dynamically changed during plant response to phosphate starvation (Pi-). However, the properties of methylation alteration and how it affects gene expression and alternative splicing are indistinct. In this project, we investigated the changes of DNA methylation, gene expression and alternative splicing (AS) under Pi- in tomato seedling, and analyzed the pattern of the methylation changes at genome-wide scale and local genes using high-throughput methylome and transcriptome datasets.
