Project name: Solanum lycopersicum
Description: Tomato originated in South America, but there is a long history of wild tomato distribution in the mountainous area of southwest Guangxi of China. The natural barrier formed by the steep terrain ensures the independent domestication of those tomatoes, which contain valuable genetic resources of quality and resistance. The 66 newly sequenced accessions, which showed vines and had small leaves and small red fruits with thin skin, were collected from the mountainous area of Guangxi Province, China
