Project name: Lactiplantibacillus plantarum
Description: Lactiplantibacillus plantarum PMO08 has been developed as cholesterol-lowering probiotic and used as a probiotic starter in Pulmuone Co., Ltd. [1]. This strain was isolated from kimchi, a Korean fermented vegetable, with high stability under gastrointestinal conditions [2]. In addition, several studies reported its health-promoting activities such as anti-inflammatory in vitro [3], cholesterol-lowering in mice [4], and gut microbiome shaping in human [5].
