Project name: Microarray analysis to reveal transcriptional differences between a pair of isogenic tobacco cell lines, SL (wild-type) and ALT301 (aluminum-tolerant), under normal growth condition
Description: Using our microarray data, we identified 1, 303 probes (680 upregulated; 623 downregulated; with known functions) with changes of at least 2-fold in their differential transcript levels with significance (P < 0.05) in ALT301, compared with SL (note that some probes within the 1,303 probes carry the same TIGR ID and/or UniGene ID). Focusing on the genes related to glycolysis, the TCA cycle, and antioxidant systems, we found several genes differentially expressed between the lines.Overall design: Differential expression analysis between SL (wild-type) and ALT301 (Al-tolerant) under normal growth condition, 3 different replicate of each lines.
Data type: Transcriptome or Gene expression
