Description: Mycoplasma hominis strain isolated from blood culture during sepsis investigation in 2015 from the UK. Strain is resistant to multiple antimicrobials and has confirmed mutations in gyrase and topoisomerase genes mediating fluoroquinolone resistance (e.g. levofloxacin, moxifloxacin) as well as genomic insertion of the tetracycline resistance gene tet(M) mediating resistance to tetracycline and doxycycline.
