Description: The bacteria were then collected by centrifuging at 8000 rpm for 10 min. The cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) method was used to extract the genomic DNA of S. marcescens LY1 (Lin et al. 2014), and a Wizard Genomic DNA Purification Kit (Vazyme Biotech Co., Ltd, Nanjing, China) was used to purify the genomic DNA. Shanghai Majorbio Bio-pharm Technology Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China) sequenced the whole genome of S. marcescens LY1 using two different sequencing techniques, including Illumina HiSeq (151-bp paired-end) and the PacBio RSII system (MenloPark, CA, USA). SPAdes was then used to assemble the reads into scaffolds (Bankevich et al. 2012).
