Project name: Carthamus tinctorius cultivar:A1
Description: Safflower is known for its oil quality and ability to grow in drought condition. The unprecedented change in global climatic condition stressed the use of functional genomic approach to mitigate the stresses with no yield penalty. Brassinosteroids (BR) are plant steroid hormones which showed nexus approach in regulating a wide aspect of plant growth and development, and also in mitigating abiotic and biotic stress with increased seed yield. The present study provides comprehensive resources for safflower improvement.
