Description: In this study, taking advantage of the fundamental principles of SSH and NGS techniques, we presented a practical method 'SSH-seq' to detect ukGMOs with the involvement of isogenic non-GMOs. Evidence indicated that single SSH-seq could pool target up to 1000 times under ideal condition. This novel method offers an additional option for the current GMO testing system, and finds a new path for solving the long-existing problem in the field of ukGMO detection.
