Description: MtSHR overexpression in M. truncatula hairy roots triggers cortical cell divisions and formed nodule like structure without rhizobia inoculation. To investigate whether these cortical cell divisions and nodule like structure are relevanted to nodules, we collected M. truncatula hairy roots transformed with empty vector (EV) or pLjUBQ:MtSHR1, respectively, on the basis of RFP and performed RNA sequencing.
