Description: To investigate cancer stem cells within glioblastoma tumors, we performed single-cell RNA-sequencing on 11 samples. Using existing datasets from primary human brain at developmental and adult stages, we compared signatures of glioblastoma tumors to primary cell types. We identified a heterogeneity of cell types, including diverse population of stem-like populations. One of these populations was an outer radial glia-like cell that resembles a developmental cell type.
