Description: In this study, we focused on exploring salt-responsive lncRNAs and interactive small RNAs as well as their target genes in soybean roots. Multiple deep sequencing strategies were integrated and performed including whole transcriptome, small RNA, degradome and methylation sequencing approaches, which presented a more comprehensive view for better understanding of ncRNA functions underlying the plant tolerance to durable salt stress. Additionally, special crosstalks between ncRNAs and mRNAs such as eMTs and phasiRNAs were also investigated. Our findings shed a light on the complexity of regulation networks of ncRNAs and provide valuble informations on molecular basis of stress responses, which will benefit the soybean molecular improvement in the near future.
