Description: Transcriptome sequencing of Apis mellifera was performed by the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM-HGSC), using abdomen and whole body RNA samples provided by the R. Maleszka and Jay Evans labs. Reads were assembled into contigs using Newbler, and submitted to GenBank as Transcriptome Shotgun Assemblies (TSAs).
