Description: The 16S rDNA sequence of SJQ22 are 98.6% identical to that of Aerococcus viridans ATCC11563T and 98.5% identical to that of Aerococcus urinaeequi CCUG 28094T , which indicates that strain SJQ22 is a new species of Aerococcus. Comparative genomic sequence analysis between strain SJQ22 , Aerococcus viridans ATCC11563T and Aerococcus urinaeequi CCUG 28094T will provide more evidence to prove that SJQ22 is a new species of Aerococcus.
