Description: The project is devoted to the study of the genetic diversity of the Blastocystis spp. in Russia (St. Petersburg, Anadyr). Samples were obtained from patients with various diseases (acute and chronic gastroenterological disorders, HIV / AIDS, kidney failure / dialysis, urticaria), clinically healthy individuals and pregnant women.
