Project name: RNA-sequencing of smpB-dependent gene expression in A. Veronii C4

Description: We generated A. veronii strains that express SmpB(wt) or not(△smpB) in trans to evaluate the changes in gene expression upon SmpB expression. As SmpB participate in transtranslation sysytem, this allows us to explore the gene regulaton in A.veronii.Overall design: wild type and △smpB of A.veronii were grown in M9 medium. mRNA profiles were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina Hiseq xTen.
