Project name: Japanese quail embryonic skin samples
Description: To understand molecular mechanism of stripe patterning in the embryonic skin of Japanese quail, we compared gene expression profile between black stripe and yelllow stripe by using RNA seq method. Most of differential expression genes were known pigmentation-related genes, but some are unknown role in pigment pattern formation.Overall design: Black and yellow stripes areas were dissected form E7 Japanese quail. Each sample (Black1, 2, Yellow1, 2) were from 4 embryos. Total RNA were prepared by Trizol. RNA seq. was done by using Illumina NextSeq 500.
