Description: Cadmium (Cd) exposure has been regarded to alter the growth appearances, reproductive cycles, tissue morphology, ion regulation, immune response and enzyme activities of teleosts. In the present study, Nile tilapia was exposed to waterborne Cd (50, 100 and 200 μg/L, in CdCl2 form) for 60 days. The transcriptome changes in liver was analyzed by next generation sequencing.
