Project name: Solanum lycopersicum isolate:tomato
Description: The circular RNAs (circRNAs) were widely identified in animals, but there were only few reports on plant circRNAs. CircRNAs played crucial roles in growth and development processes by regulating their target miRNAs and controlling transcription as competing endogenous RNAs or regulators of their parental coding genes. Seed germination is one of the most important stage in the entire life cycle of plants, which can be slowed down or totally restrained by high temperature. The aim of this study is to identify the heat-responsive circRNAs in tomato seeds and expound the potential function of circRNAs by target miRNAs prediction and functional analysis of parental genes.
