Project name: Mus musculus
Description: Tumor-infilitrated myeloid cells have been implicated for tumor-host interaction and therapeutic resistance. However, impacts of tumor-secreted microvesicles on host neutrophils remain unknown. By examining transcriptome profiles of tumor exosome-stimulated neutrophils, key genes regulating tumor immunity will be elucidated to develope coping strategies for combating pathological tumor-host interaction.Overall design: A colon cancer cell line, CT26, is used to enrich cancer stem cells by a defined stem cell medium (SCM) cultivation. The tumor exosomes of cancer stem cells are collected from SCM by ultracentrifugation for neutrophil treatment.
