Project name: Gasterosteus aculeatus

Description: We used RNA-seq to profile gene expression in the digestive tracts of 14 dpf threespine stickleback from two divergent laboratory lines derived from wild Alaskan populations. Fish were either exposed to a "conventional" microbiota or kept germ-free. We examined relative contributions of host genotype (population- and family-level), microbiota treatment, and their interaction to variation in gene expression patterns.
