Description: The plants were submitted to two different treatments (12 pots per treatment): (i) plants watered with a nutrient solution without soluble silicon and Inoculated with R.solanacearum (Rs), (ii) plants watered with a nutrient solution containing 2 mM potassium silicate (K2SiO3) and inoculated with R.solanacearum (Rs+Si).RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) technology was employed to analyze the root transcriptome of Si-treated and non-Si-treated susceptible tomato plants after R.solanacearum inoculation at three different time points (1 day, 3 day and 7 day post inoculation, dpi)
