Description: We announce the draft genome of a Gram-negative bacterium related with Black Band Disease (BBD). This genome will be a useful tool to characterize this bacteria and understand more about the relation between the microbial consortia associated with the disease and the onset of this pathology.To this Bacteria, 11.305.818 paired-end reads were generated and each one had a length of 101 bp. After the quality process, trimming and adaptors seeking was made, we got 11.191.685 high-quality reads. The assembly process generated initially 28 contigs (largest contig: 744.415, N50: 637.544). The total length of the assembly was of 4.495.976 bp with a GC content of 61.46% and a coverage approximated of 50x.To make the classification of the bacterium we use the RNAmmer tool to find the 16S sequence and we used the Ez Taxon tool to find the most exact taxon position based in the similarity value.
