Description: In this study, we used Illumina RNA-Seq technology to analysis antennal transcriptomes data from adult worker bees of A. c. cerana at different developmental stages. Several chemosensory gene families including OBPs, CSPs, ORs, IRs and SNMPs were identified. Subsequently, the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were screened and their spatio-temporal expression profiles were carried out using qRT-PCR. The goal of this study was to explore the relationship between chemosensory genes and the social behavior of A. c. cerana and to provide a valuable resource for further genetic and molecular study in olfactory recognition mechanism of honey bees.
