Description: We analyzed the gene expression difference between the haploid and diploid drones of Apis cerana cerana using a transcriptome method. Each sample has two biological replicates. From 4 libraries of transcriptome expression profile, we obtained about 74.69 and 44.38 million clean reads were obtained separately in diploid and haploid drones, respectively. And detected 649 differentially expressed genes between these two samples, with 507 genes up-regulated and 142 genes down-regulated in diploid drones compared to haploid drones.
