Description: Total RNA for deep sequencing was isolated by using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) according to the manufacturer’s protocol, with some modifications. Each sample added 300 ul TRIzol (Invitrogen) and homogenized with homogenizer. After homogenized, these samples were added 700 ul TRIzol (Invitrogen) reagent and then incubated at room temperature for 5 min. Additionally, each samples were added 200 ul 1-Bromo-3-chloropropane (Sigma Aldrich), waited for 3 min. And then, it was performed to centrifuge for 15 min at 12,000 rpm at 4°C. Instead of isopropanol, it was mixed for precipitation 750 ul of 100% ethanol with 500 ul supernatant of each sample. The mixed samples are incubated at -20°C for 2 h. And then, it was progressed following steps by using miRNeasy Mini Kit (QIAGEN, Valencia, CA, USA) according to the manufacturer’s protocol. But, when samples dissolved with RNase-free water in 2 ml collection tube, the samples were eluted twice repetition.
