Description: Inside the olive knots caused by Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. savastanoi a high numbers of bacterial species occur, such as: Erwinia toletana, Pantoea agglomerans and Erwinia oleae. Since we frequently isolated from olive knots many strains of P. agglomerans inducing hypersensitive reaction in tobacco plants, we further investigate the role of this bacterium in disease development, obtaining the draft genome sequence of the strain DAPP-PG 734.
