Description: VRN1 is a key regulator in vernalization response in cereals. The genome-wide binding sites of VRN1 protein were analyzed by ChIP-seq using the VRN1-HA transgenic barley in Golden Promise background. Leaf 2 stage of aerial part of whole seedlings were used as the plant material. Hundreds of binding sites were identified which indicates VRN1 has multiple functions other than flowering time regulation.
