Description: Strain MB respires TCE and produces more trans-DCE to cis-DCE (7:1) which differs from other TCE respiring Dehalococcoides strains. Studying its genome and doing a transcription study of reductive dehalogenase mRNA, could shed light on the potential reductive dehalogenase involved in this process.
