Description: Using Next Generation sequencing of RNA from two tomato plants we have obtained the full length sequence of a completely new class of viruses, which we named the Tomato Matilda virus – it differs substantial from all other described viruses, and remarkably, the closest possible class of virus is bee sackbrood virus, and other insect viruses.
